How to print a t-shirt in Canva
It’s very easy to print a t-shirt in Canva. I’ve printed a few t-shirts so far, and the quality is good in my experience. All you need to do is:
- Finalize the design (use a template or create one from scratch). Canva templates are not intended for resale and are for personal use only for t-shirt printing.
- Finalize the front and back pages of your design (this may vary).
- Choose a style (men’s, women’s, teens, toddlers, toddlers).
- Choose a color (current colors are black, white and navy blue).
- Choose your size. Canva has a sizing guide and we recommend using it to check your size. For women’s t-shirts, I find the small to be a bit small, so I usually wear one size larger.
- Confirm your order and pay. Shipping has been confirmed to be fast in Australia so far (2-3 days for my location), so we hope it goes well for your location too!
Tips for obtaining good quality print results:
Here are some tips for printing t-shirts.
- Check out a preview of the t-shirt against your chosen color. This will ensure that your design works well with your chosen color and has enough contrast to print as well as a T-shirt.
- Use the “Compare” button to see other t-shirts and sizes you own. This will give you the best possible comparison.
- Use high-quality elements for your t-shirt design. Avoid low resolution photos or elements/graphics as they will not print clearly.

- Add a nice message using fonts/typefaces.
